Independence Day Weekend

I hope everyone's Independence Day weekends were wonderful! It was nice to get a full weekend of warm weather and sun. That's feels very rare lately in our area.

We spent our 4th at my uncles house which has been tradition for many years. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to see the fireworks since Luca hit his expiration a bit early. One thing I'm starting to understand as a parent is that you have to give a little. But that's ok because we gain so much more in return. Luca still had fun though this weekend, we spent the rest of it at the pool and watching lots of Baby Shark (his fav). It was nice to take it easy and just spend time with him. I did get some adult time though, the hubby and I got to meet our close friends for a nice dinner.
